Eurorack News for May 17th 2024

The Behringer Perfect Pitch PP1 is an 8HP Eurorack module designed to convert mono sources such as microphones, guitars or line-level sources into CV, MIDI or USB signals. It quickly extracts pitch, gate, and trigger values from the incoming audio for use with CV-compatible gear or DAW elements. The module features hi-Z and Low Cut functions to maintain signal integrity and provides an additional 50dB of gain.

The Erica Synths Black Stereo Delay also fits standard Eurorack format and is a versatile stereo delay module built on a custom DSP engine. It offers Tape, BBD, and digital delay simulations with various modes including stereo, crossfeed, and ping-pong. It allows for tap and clock synchronized delay times, and gives users CV control over multiple parameters.

The Pittsburgh Modular Dynamics Controller Bat is a resonant filter and VCA incorporated into a Eurorack module. It modernizes the famous “lowpass” gate concept by Don Buchla by adding an adjustable voltage controllable response curve and variable resonance. The unique lowpass gate mode shapes the harmonic content of sounds to simulate their interactions in natural environments.

These modules provide a diverse spectrum of sound modulation possibilities, transforming the input audio and enabling creative interactions within a Eurorack setup.
