The Analog Drive Control 1.0 Max4Live device by AlteredSignal integrates the Elektron Analog Drive distortion pedal with Ableton Live, providing real-time access and saving of pedal parameters. The device includes a MIDI controller, allowing users to alter pedal’s settings via Ableton’s automation lanes and modulator devices like LFOs and envelope followers. The device offers a 1:1 representation of the hardware in the user’s DAW, providing granular control of the distortion unit.

To use the device, users need to drop it into a new MIDI track in Ableton Live and connect a MIDI cable to the input of the Analog Drive and to the MIDI output of their audio interface. The MIDI channel of the track should match the input channel of the Analog Drive pedal.

The device has been tested with Ableton Live versions 11 and 12. If users find this device useful, they are encouraged to support the creator at ko-fi.com/alteredsignal. The Analog Drive Control 1.0 Max4Live device is available for download at the Max4Live library.
