The ENVOLTURA is a dual analog envelope module for eurorack setups developed by ST Modular. It is functionally influenced by the classical Roland System 100M 140 Dual ADSR. The device is a versatile component designed to impact sound modulation in a unique fashion, presenting multiple features for sound shaping and increased flexibility.

Key features of ENVOLTURA include CV level control, an inverted output functionality, and a retrigger function. The front-end displays a responsive analog envelope equipped with traditional ADSR controls. It also offers the ability to produce a CV signal at the primary output and an inverted version of it at the INV output by feeding a gate signal to the GATE input.

Additional functionality includes an end-of-cycle GATE signal which can be accessed from the EOC socket. The device also features a DECAY phase retriggering mechanism via a signal applied to the RTRG input. Further, ENVOLTURA consists of a built-in VCA, allowing modulation of the envelope’s level through a CV signal patched into the VEL input.

The module also features PUSH inputs that transform any CV source into an amplitude and time control signal, a SLOW/FAST switch for speed and duration control, and a CYC switch for loop creation. To enhance usability, the two ADSR sections of this dual module are normalised, hence they can be triggered simultaneously and unpatched.

Moreover, ENVOLTURA allows for manual triggering and comes in a compact design that is skiff-friendly. This module enhances the sonic possibilities of any eurorack set up with its advanced functionalities and is a comprehensive package of envelope shaper, trigger generator, and modulation source.
